 This mini venture to the windy city with my partner in crime was a much needed respite from the chaos quickly unraveling at school. We ate our way through the city, per usual, and made a necessary stop at Eataly... like always. 

falling for fall

Everyone who knows me knows that autumn will always be my most favorite (although, Christmas is a close second). The goldens, sweet aromas, scary movies, getting lost in corn mazes... I could honestly go on forever. However, sharing this season with my people is what makes it the most special. I decided to go home this weekend because Crane's announced that is was the first weekend for Honey Crisp picking. The absolute best apples and the first to go every season - so we had to go, no negotiation. Aside from a mild drizzle that turned into torrential downpour it was perfect.
